So I just came back from LA after a two week stint there. Had an amazing time, and even though I missed seeing a few people, it was great to catch up with some old friends and family.

Had some big meetings as well, and am very excited to announce some MAJOR news concerning my future happenings career wise. Please stay tuned…can’t wait to spill the beans.

In the meantime, had a chance to sit down with my homie Jameel Saleem. He’s an incredible writer, actor, and director. He does it all. Check him out at: www.jameelsaleem.com. Jameel and I are teaming up together to begin work on an as yet untitiled Horror Film project, which he is writing and I’ll be directing. An incredible idea, this project is my guilty pleasure. A fun, scary ride….this will be an American ghost tale mixed in with a little bit of Asian Horror. Not to mention some deep social meaning thrown in the mix. Perfect for me and my sensibilities.

I also made some good time of the trip to work on my main baby, Martian, my urban indie coming of age drama that I am soooo close to finishing. In my third revision, I am doing an almost complete rewrite, as life and experiences only add to making the film, which is very close to my heart, even better. Look forward to some announcements as well on that one, for which I’ll be doing a reading, and starting official casting on it.
